This document describes the release notes for version 1.00.02          

of SiS620   drivers and utilities.                         









<New Feature/Major Change>



Feature list:

Formal Release for WHQL 

(1) Version Update

(2) Bug fix.

(3) Win95 & 98 drivers seperate for fix the multiple monitor bug.

(4) DCT-100 PC98#24~#29 should pass, except the "out of device scope" error.

(5) Fixed using "VerInfo" utility to view the drivers version not correct bug.



<Win2D_NT4.0>

(1) For support modes bug in Non UMA sinbad and Non UMA eagle

    project (memory clock is always 60MHz because the vga bios will

    set Sr33 D=1-- hardware issue)



<Win2D_NT5.0>:

(1) For support modes bug in Non UMA sinbad and Non UMA eagle

    project (memory clock is always 90MHz because the vga bios will

    set Sr33 D=1-- hardware issue)

(2) For the test of pc98 downloadable RAMDAC in DCT 100

<Win95_2D>

  Bugs Fixed:

    (1) Incorrect refresh rate value sent to the DirectDraw under 

        low-resolution modes.

  Work Around:

    (1) Vertical theshold bars flashed when opening a DOS-Prompt window.

    (2) No driver version information in the property sheet of "Device 

        Manager" of "System" of the Control Panel.

(1) Display Modes - sissh620.dll Change version &  Re-compile-link



<Win95_3D>

(1) Fixed refresh rate problem on 3D Winbench 99

(2) Fixed texture size #2 will hangup on 3D Winbench 99

(3) Tune 3D Winbench performance

How To Update Drivers Manually
