S3Mixer Version 3.4 [How to use S3Mixer] 1. S3MIXER.EXE can be located under \Windows directory. 2. Make sure s3legacy (real mode DOS driver) is installed. 3. Type s3mixer /? for help. 4. Type s3mixer to bring up the GUI for changing settings. Settings will be saved to S3Init.ini file if you choose Save. 5. Type s3mixer /x to run S3Mixer as command line, it reads the settings from S3Init.ini and will not bring up GUI. 6. Type s3mixer /MA:12,12 to set Master volume in command line. You can type s3mixer /? for other command line switches. [Advanced Users] 1. Use debug to change CM00_0 to SoundBlaster mode or Native Mode. 2. Bring up S3mixer GUI. It will display the pages according to the mode. 3. Settings for SB mode will save to [Legacy] section in s3init.ini file. Settings for Native mode will save to [Native] section in s3init.ini file. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
