S3Mixer Version 3.4

[How to use S3Mixer]
1. S3MIXER.EXE can be located under \Windows directory.
2. Make sure s3legacy (real mode DOS driver) is installed.
3. Type s3mixer /? for help.
4. Type s3mixer to bring up the GUI for changing settings.
   Settings will be saved to S3Init.ini file if you choose Save.
5. Type s3mixer /x to run S3Mixer as command line, it reads
   the settings from S3Init.ini and will not bring up GUI.
6. Type s3mixer /MA:12,12 to set Master volume in command line.
   You can type s3mixer /? for other command line switches.

[Advanced Users]
1. Use debug to change CM00_0 to SoundBlaster mode or Native Mode.
2. Bring up S3mixer GUI. It will display the pages according
   to the mode.
3. Settings for SB mode will save to [Legacy] section in s3init.ini
   file. Settings for Native mode will save to [Native] section
   in s3init.ini file.
   
[Note]
1. Command Line switch(RE:0/1) in S3MIXER.EXE, the reverb selection 
   is not supported.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
