EVB175Q-CBNF Cardbus out of form factor Ethernet 10/100 & Modem card using the 83C175 MAC and the QSI 6612 PHY. 4. EVB175T-CB Cardbus Ethernet 10/100 card using the 83C175 MAC and TDK 78Q2120 PHY 5. EVB175T-CB-D Cardbus Ethernet 10/100 & Modem card using the 83C175 MAC and TDK 78Q2120 PHY Superdisk Contents ================== \EVB171Q - Drivers and utilities specific for the EVB171Q ONLY (a.k.a. SMC9432). Refer to READ171Q.TXT in \EVB171Q for details. \32BITODI - 32 bit ODI driver for use with Novell 32 bit client for DOS or Netware 4.11 Server. Works with all EVBs. Refer to READODI.TXT in \32BITODI for installation instructions. \NDIS4 - NDIS4 driver for use with Windows 95 OSR2, Windows 98 and NT 4.0. Works with all EVBs. Refer to the EPICNDIS.DOC word document in \NDIS4 for installation instructions. \NDIS5 - NDIS5 driver for use with Windows 98 and Windows NT 5.0 Works with all EVBs. Refer to EPICNDIS.DOC in \NDIS4 for installation instructions. NOTE: Due to licence restrictions of the Windows NT 5.0 Beta 2 DDK the driver binary has been removed from this directory until the final version of the DDK that allows distribution of binaries is released. \UTIL - Utilities for use with LANEPIC EVBs. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
