READODI.TXT Driver File Contents (epics.zip)

This directory contains the 32 bit ODI LANEPIC driver. This driver
supports ALL EPIC EVBs.

Files:
LANEPIC.LAN v1.03 (BETA) 9/10/98 19686 bytes
LANEPIC.LDI 9/10/98 13869 bytes

Included in this directory is the self extracting file CLI32DOS.EXE
which contains the minimal set of files from Novell's Client 32 for
DOS package that will allow a connection from a DOS based computer
to a Netware server. All the files in CLI32DOS.EXE are copyright of
Novell, Inc. The complete Client 32 for DOS package can be downloaded
from Novell's web site (http://www.novell.com)

In order to use the 32 bit ODI driver:

1. Copy the contents of A:\32BITODI to a directory in your hard drive
   (i.e C:\32BITODI)

2. Extract the Novell Cleint 32 support files by running CLI32DOS.EXE.
Alternatively install the Netware Client 32 Software from Novell and
when prompted for your network adapter select "Other, provided on a
diskette" and enter the path to A:\32BITODI

3. If using a cardbus card enable it using either SMCCARDB.EXE (or
BRIDGE.COM). Use "SMCCARDB /?" for command line options.

NOTE: This version of the 32 bit ODI driver does not provide support
for modem function in dual function cards.

4. You can now attach to a netware server using the netepic.bat file.
After attaching you can login by changing to the netware drive
   (typically F:) and running LOGIN.EXE.

5. After you finish using the network connection and logging out with
LOGOUT.EXE you can unload the dos netware modules using netout.bat
If using a cardbus card you can also unload the cardbus enabler by
   running SMCCARDB /U
