Enhancements/ Revision on PCCOM 2000:

1. New look and more user friendly.
2. Card images are shown as they are selected.
3. I/O addresses and IRQ are initially set to the cards default settings.
4. Faster registry enhancement and port testing.
5. Can tell if the card ports are in conflict with other devices or 
   if the specified address is invalid.
6. Fix for the starting COM port, The starting COM port can be up to COM30.
7. Fix for the mixing of COM assignments in the Registry. 
8. COM ports created by PCCOM 2000, is more readable, since the mapping
   of specified card Port no. to COM port no. is included in the registry.
9. Fix for garbage created inside the registry.
10. Fix for the supported address for the RISCOM cards
11. Auto Reboot; since the installation of the COM ports requires rebooting
    for changes to take effect, the PCCOM 2000 can reboot the computer by 
    itself.
12. New cards have been added. Safline 4 Port and 8 Port Multiplexer cards.
13. Fixed the Bug in the Riscom Driver (prob: rebooting the PC)

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
