For more information please refer to the "NOVELL NetWare ODI Shell for DOS" manual. ------------------------------------------------------ Filename Description ------------------------------------------------------ \DOSODI This subdirectory contains the EN2216/2316 DOS ODI driver and the sample NET.CFG file. Please read the readme.txt file in this subdirectory for DOS ODI driver related information. \OS2ODI This subdirectory contains the IBM OS/2 ODI driver and the sample NET.CFG file. Please read the readme.txt file in this subdirectory for OS/2 ODI driver related information. \SERVER This subdirectory contains the Netware server driver and its installation information file. Please read the readme.txt file in this subdirectory for more information. LSL.COM This file implements the Link Support Layer for DOS ODI workstations and is the program that is generally loaded first. The Link Support Layer file enables the workstation to communicate over one or more protocols. IPXODI.COM This is Novell's IPX protocol stack for DOS ODI workstations. It is optional and is loaded after the DOS ODI driver. Other protocols can be loaded in its place or with it. This is one of the key features of the ODI environment. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
