Miscellaneous bugs fixed NOTES/LIMITATIONS 1. 16 color support is only available if there is not sufficient video memory to support 256 colors in high resolution modes. 16 color modes will not be available except for boards with limited memory. 2. 16 million color modes are only available if memory is configured in linear mode. The ET6000 family are the only chips that this NT 4.0 driver configures in linear mode and are therefore the only chips that will have 16 million color modes available. The ET4000, ET4000w32, ET4000w32i, ET4000w32p do not have 16 million color modes available. UNINSTALL INSTRUCTIONS 1. Doubleclick on 'My Computer'. 2. Doubleclick on 'Control Panel'. 3. Double click on 'Display'. 4. Click on 'Settings' tab. 5. Click on 'Display Type'. 6. Click on 'Change'. 7. Scroll down the Manufacturers window and click on Tseng Labs. 8. Highlight your chip type. 9. Click OK. 10. Insert the Windows NT 4.0 CD and the original Microsoft drivers will install. NOTE: The new driver is not loaded until the computer is restarted. After system restart, use the Display Properties/Settings to select desired mode. You can download further updates to this driver from TSENG.com http://www.tseng.com (et6000/6100 driver for NT 4.0) REFRESH RATE NOTE: __________________ Even though MIRAGE Z-128 supports NT 4.0 at higher rates than 60 hz, For compatibility purposes you must choose 60 hz only on the NT menus. Choosing this will let NT to work properly with the card. The Card will automatically run at the correct refresh rate and Khz on the monitor (could be 60-90 hz). Z-128 will use its own default refresh rate and display the picture correctly. If you had difficulty with NT 4.0 as far as not giving you more than 640x480 or 800x600 resolutions, please make sure that you select "auto detect" video feature of NT so that it can recognize that you have an et6000 based chipset properly. There is a Program similar to "monitor and adjust" for adjusting the screen under Windows NT. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
