[Subject]: Philips PCA70PS Plug and Play sound card setup program ver.2.20P for windows 95.

[Install]: 
       Install Philips PCA70PS card for Win'95 .
       (a) Removing all sound card driver first if you have installed any 
           sound card drivers before :
           If you have installed the Philips PCA70PS driver or any other 
           sound card driver , please uninstall these sound card
           driver before install the new Philips PCA70PS card's driver.
           Please follow the [Unistall] section for detailed instruction .
      
       (b) Insert Philips PCA70PS card , then power on the machine :
           After inserting the Philips PCA70PS card to your machine , then power 
           on your machine . 

       (c) Insert Philips PCA70PS setup disk :
           Because the Philips PCA70PS card's Plug and Play property , windows 95
           will auto detect the Philips PCA70PS card . During installation ,you 
           will see some pictures below :
           (1) Windows 95 will auto create the information for Philips PCA70PS3 card .
           (2) You will see a picture for three choices . And the default 
               is setting to " Driver from disk provided by hardware manufacture " .
          *(3) Click "OK" . Then you'll see another picture asking you to 
               insert the Philips PCA70PS card setup disk. 
          *(4) Please insert the Philips PCA70PS setup disk or browsing the path
               where the file "install.inf" is .  ( e.g. A:\ )
          *(5) Click "OK" .
           (6) Then win95 will copy files from the source disk .
               And the system will auto detect for "Gameport joystick ",
               "Philips PCA70PS Audio control registers" , "MPU-401 compatible" .
               ,and it'll auto load and create the related driver and information .
        
       (d) After completing the setup program , you can play sound without 
           restarting your machine . 

[Unistall]:  
          (A) If you want to unistall the Philips PCA70PS card driver :
           1. In the "Windows\Rem_S23\" path , you can find file "rem_s23.inf" .
           2. Right click mouse button , select "Install" .
           3. You've done the unistall process .
              It will remove all S23 card's information stored in the registry .
              And it will remove "cs32mix.exe" and some *.ini file for Philips PCA70PS card.
          (B) If you want remove other sound card driver :
              Open the "Control Panel" , double click the "System" ,select the
              "Device" , double click on the "Sound card device" , remove all
              the device driver attached in the directory . 
          (C) After the unistall process as before , check the System Device 
              Manager (as B process) , you won't see the "Sound card devive"
              in the "Device Manager" .
          (D) The "csfm.drv" and "cs32ba11.drv" files can't be deleted under
              windows mode . So you'd better return to real MS_DOS mode to 
              removed the two files for Philips PCA70PS card .

[Tips for Install]:
                   (A) MS_DOS volume control :
                       You can run file "cs32mix.exe" for open the DOS
                       volume control .
                   (B) In the "Windows\Rem_S23\" , right click mouse on file 
                       "rem_s23.inf" , then select "Install" to unistall the
                       Philips PCA70PS sound card's driver and registry information . 
                   (C) After the unistall process , check the System Device 
                       Manager (as B process) , you won't see the "Sound card 
                       devive" in the " System Device Manager" table .
                   (D) The "csfm.drv" and "cs32ba11.drv" files can't be deleted under
                       windows mode . So you'd better return to real MS_DOS mode to 
                       removed the files under path \System for cleaning Philips PCA70PS completely.
