When using the PCI20 under DOS and Windows 3.1 the computer's BIOS will set the I/O and interrupt settings for the PCI20's COM20020. The Findpci.exe program can be used to determine which settings the BIOS has chosen for each PCI20 in the computer. Findpci.exe will output the settings in readable form. The Findirq.exe and Findio.exe programs will output the interrupt and I/O settings of each PCI20 in a form which may be better suited for applications and drivers. To verify the PCI20 I/O and interrupt settings two DOS programs are included on the disk: IRQTEST.EXE: This program will allow you to test your I/O and interrupt settings. This program requires two parameters. The first parameter is the base I/O address of the PCM20 (in hex). The second parameter is the interrupt setting used by the PCI20 (in decimal). For example: irqtest 2e0 5. You do not need to be connected to the network to run this test. In fact it is best that you are not connected to the network so that interrupts can be tested due to the reconfiguration timer. NETMAP.EXE: This program will provide a list of the nodes currently on your network. This program requires one parameter. This is the base I/O address of the PCI20 (in hex). For example: netmap 2e0. As this is an off-line network map this node will not join the network and will not be listed in the netmap output. In order to use this program you must have at least two additional active nodes on the network.Download Driver Pack
