     Thank you for purchasing this quality CardBus PC Card product. We are
sure that you will enjoy years of productive use with this product. This
README.TXT file outlines how to install this product under some operating
systems.

     Please note that the drivers included on this disk are only for CardBus
PC Cards.

Installing under Windows 95 (OSR2 and later ONLY)
=================================================

     To install the CardBus PC Card under Windows 95, ensure that you are running
Windows 95 OSR2 or later (check this under Properties of "My Computer"). The
Windows 95 version must be 4.00.950B or 4.00.950C. Any earlier version is not
supported.

     Secondly, to install a Multi-Function CardBus PC Card under Windows 95,
you MUST use the diskette labelled "Drivers for Windows 95". Installing the
Windows 98 drivers under Windows 95 will not work and your operating system
may be rendered un-stable. For Single Function CardBus PC Cards, this
restriction does not apply and the Windows 98 drivers may be used to install
under Windows 95.

     Once the above two conditions have been met, just insert the CardBus PC
Card into a free, available CardBus slot and allow Windows to detect the new
device. Insert the correct driver disk (for Multi-Function CardBus PC Cards
use the "Windows 95" disk and for Single Function CardBus PC Cards use the
Windows 98 disk) into the floppy drive and allow Windows 95 to scan it.

     Windows 95 should recognize the device and install all required files
and drivers. If you are asked to re-boot, remove the driver disk from the
floppy drive and re-boot. For Multi-Function CardBus PC Cards, after
re-booting, Windows 95 will detect the other device. Please re-insert the
driver disk and allow Windows 95 to install the second function.

     Once all functions have been installed, re-boot your computer. After
re-booting, all functions should be installed and usable.

     Please note that for installation of this CardBus PC Card, you will need
access to the Windows 95 CD-ROM. Usually the files required can be found in
the C:\Windows\OPTIONS\CABS folder, so if you do not have the CD-ROM readily
available, try this location to complete the installation.

Installing under Windows 98
===========================

     To install the CardBus PC Card under Windows 98, ensure that you use the
diskette labelled "Drivers for Windows 98/NT4.0". Installing the Windows 95
drivers under Windows 98 will not work and your operating system may be
rendered un-stable.

     Once you have ensured that you will use the correct disk, just insert
the CardBus PC Card into a free, available CardBus slot and allow Windows to
detect the new device. Insert the Windows 98 driver disk into the floppy
drive and allow Windows 98 to scan it.

     Windows 98 should recognize the device and install all required files
and drivers. If you are asked to re-boot, remove the driver disk from the
floppy drive and re-boot. For Multi-Function CardBus PC Cards, after
re-booting, Windows 98 will detect the other device. Please re-insert the
driver disk and allow Windows 98 to install the second function.

     Once all functions have been installed, re-boot your computer. After
re-booting, all functions should be installed and usable.

     Please note that for installation of this CardBus PC Card, you will need
access to the Windows 98 CD-ROM. Usually the files required can be found in
the C:\Windows\OPTIONS\CABS folder, so if you do not have the CD-ROM readily
available, try this location to complete the installation.

Installing under Windows NT4.0
==============================

     Insert the CardBus PC Card into an available CardBus slot BEFORE turning
on the computer. Boot into Windows NT4.0.

     The drivers included with your CardBus PC Card do not support all
available Windows NT4.0 Card and Socket Services. If there is a compatibility
issue with your CardBus PC Card and any installed Card and Socket Service,
please un-install the Card and Socket Service and re-install the CardBus card.

     Network Card Installation
     =========================

          For Network only and Modem+Network cards, open the Control Panel/
     Networks tools and click on the Adapters tab. Click on "Add" and then
     click on "Have Disk". Browse the floppy drive (A:) and select your card
     from the list displayed. Click OK.

          Windows NT4.0 will copy over some files and display a configuration
     screen. Select your media type, from this screen and click OK. Windows
     NT4.0 will install the network adapter and setup the network settings.

          Re-boot when asked. Once you have re-booted, Windows NT4.0 should
     have properly installed and configured the PC Card. If you have
     installed a Multi-Function PC Card (Modem and Network), you will now need
     to install the modem. To do this follow the instructions below.

     Modem Installation
     ==================

          Proceed to the Control Panel-Modems tools and have Windows NT4.0
     detect new modems. Windows NT4.0 should find and identify your CardBus
     PC Card modem. Click on "Next" and follow all on-screen instructions.
     Please direct Windows NT4.0 to the floppy disk (A:) when Windows attempts
     to copy over some files and drivers.
