     Thank you for purchasing a quality PC Card product. We are sure that
you will enjoy years of productive use with this product. This README.TXT
file outlines how to install this product under some operating systems.

Installing under Windows 95 (all versions) and Windows 98
=========================================================

     To install the PC Card under Windows 95/98, ensure that your PCMCIA sockets
are properly configured (see Control Panel-Device Manager). Next, insert the
PC Card into an available, free PC Card slot.

     Windows 95/98 will detect the presence of the PC Card, and then either
prompt you for the driver disk, or give you the option of providing an
alternative location.

     Please insert this driver disk, and click "Next". Windows 95/98 will
scan the disk and identify the PC Card from the information on the diskette.
Windwos will then begin to install all files and drivers required for the PC
Card from the diskette. It is possible that Windows will ask for the location
of some files from the diskette. If this happens, please direct Windows back
to the floppy drive (typically this is A:).

     For installation of some PC Cards, you will need access to the Windows
CD-ROM. Usually the files required can be found in the C:\Windows\OPTIONS\CABS
folder, so if you do not have the CD-ROM readily available, try this location,
to complete the installation.

Installing under Windows NT4.0
==============================

     Insert the PC Card into an available PC Card slot BEFORE turning on the
computer. Boot into Windows NT4.0. Windows NT4.0's PC Card tool (in the
NT Control Panel) should have detected the PC Card.

     Network Card Installation
     =========================

          For network only and modem+network cards, open the Control Panel/
     Networks tools and click on the Adapters tab. Click on "Add" and then
     click on "Have Disk". Browse the floppy drive (A:) and select your card
     from the list displayed. Click OK.

          Windows NT4.0 will copy over some files and display a configuration
     screen. Select your resources, media type, etc. from this screen and
     click OK. Windows NT4.0 will install the network adapter and setup the
     network settings.

          Re-boot when asked. Once you have re-booted, Windows NT4.0 should
     have properly installed and configured the PC Card. If you have
     installed a combination PC Card (modem and network), you will now need
     to install the modem. To do this follow the instructions below.

     Modem Installation
     ==================

          For modem PC Cards, copy the file MDMTZD.INF from the floppy disk
     into the %SystemRoot%\INF folder (typically this will be C:\WINNT\INF).

          Next proceed to the Control Panel-Modems tools and have Windows
     NT4.0 detect new modems. Windows NT4.0 should find and identify your PC
     Card modem. Click on "Next" and follow all on-screen instructions.
     Please direct Windows NT4.0 to the floppy disk (A:) when Windows attempts
     to copy over some files and drivers.
