NOVELL NetWare installation ============================== 1. Create a subdirectory and install the following files: LSL.COM PCMODI.COM IPXODI.COM NETX.EXE NET.CFG The LSL.COM, NETX.EXE, and NETX.CFG files may be found on this installation disk. The other files are included with your Novell workstation software. 2. Edit the NET.CFG file and check that the INT number, the PORT number and the network protocol type settings are suitable for your network, and change any settings as necessary. 3. To connect to a server, execute the following commands: LSL PCMODI IPXODI NETX F:\LOGIN {User Name} : : Notice: For detailed information and other NetWare standard keywords & parameters, please refer to NOVELL's manual "NetWare ODI shell for DOS - NET.CFG options". B. NOVELL NetWare Lite installation =================================== 1. Copy the \NETWARE\CLIENT\PCMODI.COM file from this diskette to the "USER1 Driver Disk". (or the "USER2 Driver Disk") 2. Execute the INSTALL.EXE file from the "NETWARE Lite Installation Disk". 3. Edit the NET.CFG file and check that the cable type and network protocol type settings are suitable for your network, and change any settings as necessary. 4. To connect to a server, execute the STARTNET.BAT batch file.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
