Installation Guide for NT4.0 Server/Workstation - Joshua Minnis 2/98 Before installing the modem, make sure that the PCMCIA Services have been started and there are no conflicts. This can be viewed under Control Panel, Devices, pcmcia. Take a look on the back of the modem on the label. Note the model number and match the driver name below- FM3360LK -"Eiger EFX-3360PL Fax Modem LK" FM336XT -"Eiger EFX-3360PL Fax Modem XT" FM336 -"Eiger EFX-3360PL Fax Modem C" FM336C -"Eiger EFX-3360PL Fax Modem C" FM336T -"Eiger EFX-3360PL Fax Modem XT" MDM3360 -"Eiger EFX-3360PL Fax Modem LK" FCC REG. No. M4TUSA-#####-X#-X -"Eiger EFX-3360PLS Fax Modem" EFX-3360PL-"Eiger EFX-3360PL Fax Modem XT" EFX-3360P -"Eiger EFX-3360P Fax Modem " EFX-3360PV-"Eiger EFX-3360PV Fax Modem " When installing the modem, make sure the modem is in the computer BEFORE booting, as NT does not support hot-swapping. Then boot the computer. Under Control Panel, Modem, click ADD. It will list as the Standard Modem. Click Change, then Have Disk. Insert the Eiger Labs driver disk and point to the floppy drive. Pick the modem associated with the model number. This will finish the installation of the modem.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
