NOVELL.TXT Driver File Contents (lan336.exe)

This file is NOVELL.TXT.

Before proceeding with the LAN software installation for Novell NetWare
it would be best to have the NetWare files copied onto your hard
disk. This is so the installation program can update these network
files with newer ones if needed. However, if you do not have your
netware files handy, we will copy the versions of the file(s) that we
have provided to your hard disk.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WHILE WE TRY TO PROVIDE THE LATEST VERSIONS OF
THIS SOFTWARE, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THESE ARE THE CORRECT
VERSIONS FOR YOUR PARTICULAR NETWORK.

If you have already installed the network files,
close this window and continue with the installation.

If you DO NOT have the network files installed, there are
two methods to have these files installed on your computer.

***METHOD 1-AUTO INSTALLATION OF NETWORK FILES***

You may just continue by closing this window, and let us automatically
copy our versions of the Netware files.

***METHOD 2 - MANUAL INSTALLATION OF NETWORK FILES***

To manually install the NetWare network to your computer
you need to make a directory \NETWARE on your hard disk.

Then copy the files:
	LSL.COM
	IPXODI.COM
from the NetWare 4.x diskette to the \NETWARE directory.

Depending on the version of NetWare you have, you
were supplied with either NETX.COM, NETX.EXE, or
VLM.EXE. Copy the supplied program to the \NETWARE directory.

If you have the VLM.EXE program you need to copy VLM.* and
*.VLM programs to the \NETWARE directory to get all the needed
files.

If you have questions about this procedure refer
to your NetWare manual or ask your Network Administrator.
