1. Supported Software
   ------------------
This pacakage provides support for Windows 95, Windows 3.1x, Windows NT
and MS-DOS, as well as Asian language support for Japanese, Chinese
(Traditional and Simplified), Korean and Thai/English editions of Windows
   3.1.

2. Foreign Language Support
   ------------------------
On-line hints are provided in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish,
Chinese, Japanese, Dutch, Polish, Russian and Korean for this release.

NOTE: You must have standard Microsoft Windows font support installed
for a particular language in order to view on-line hints in that
         language.

3. DCI and DirectDraw Support
   --------------------------
Windows 3.1x DCI and Windows 95 DirectDraw support are automatically
installed along with the VCP by the Setup program. Video for Windows
3.1 is not provided in this installation. If you do not have Video
for Windows installed, you can obtain it from a wide range of sources
(a local BBS, Compuserve, MSN, etc.).

4. Windows 95 QuickColor
   ---------------------
This release incorporates QuickColor, which allows color depth to be
changed on-the-fly under Windows 95. After a QuickColor change, all
running Windows applications are notified of the change, but some
applications respond differently than others. In particular, you
should be aware that program icon colors can sometimes be distorted -
a problem that can be resolved by simply closing and then reopening
   the application in question.

In the event that a QuickColor change fails, the display will default
to a fail-safe 640x480 resolution. You will then have the option of
   restoring your original display settings.

5. Removing the Splash Screen
   --------------------------
If you tire of the splash screen and/or sound, the unInstaller program
   now gives you this option.

6. VCP Media Player and Xing
   -------------------------
The latest releases of XingMPEG 3.x for Windows 95 are NOT approved for
use with the VCP Media Player. The VCP Media Player can be safely used
with all other software and hardware MPEG MCI devices.
