    ----------------------------------------

This file contains important information and last-minute changes regarding
    the AdvanSCSI WINASPI.DLL.

    How to reach SIIG
    ---------------------

    Installing and using WINASPI.DLL
    ----------------------------

WINASPI.DLL is a DLL file used in conjunction with DOS ASPI to provide programs
such as COLORADO memory's tape back up utility that require a protected mode
    DLL to function properly.

To use WINASPI.DLL with any SIIG adapter card simply replace the WINASPI.DLL
    provided by SIIG.

For example in the case of COLOLADO memory tape backup, if the utility is
installed in subdirectory CBW there should be a file WINASPI.DLL in that
directory. Simply copy WINASPI.DLL provided by SIIG to the directory
    CBW.

SIIG WINASPI.DLL is specifically designed to work with SIIG
ABPxxx series of adapters. Do not attempt to use SIIG WINASPI.DLL
    with other brand adapters.
