INSTALL.TXT Driver File Contents (scsi540.exe)

	SIIG SCSI CD-ROM Installer
	==========================

This program will install the SIIG DOS Drivers only. It is intended
for people who want to get their CDROM up and running without going
through the entire Windows-based installation of SIIG software and
utilities.

This program creates an ADVSCSI directory on the C or D drive and
copies the following to it:

	1) SIIG ASPI Manager
	2) SIIG CD-ROM driver and utility
	3) SIIG Hard Drive / Removable Media Manager
	4) SIIG SCSI Info Utility
	5) Text Files describing the above software
	6) This install program

In addition, the install program can modify the config.sys and
autoexec.bat programs automatically to install the ASPI Manager
and CD-ROM driver. The user has the option of skipping this step
and editing their own autoexec and config.sys. After initial
configuration, you can reconfigure the CD-ROM driver by typing
ADLINK from while in the ADVSCSI directory.

This DOS based install is intended for systems not running
Microsoft Windows. If you have Microsoft Windows, you should
run the Windows Based setup also included with this package.
