Window 95/98 Installation 1. Goto control panel 2. Select Display icon 3. Select "Setting" menu, then select "Advanced" 4. Select "Adapter" menu, then select "Change" 5. In the "Update Device Driver" menu, select "Have Disk" 6. Insert Disk and select "OK" 7. From the list of graphics drivers that appears in the Select Device dialog box, select the driver "Trident 9660/968x/938x,Linear Accelerator for PCI" and click "OK" then click "yes" 8. A "Update Device Driver" screen will appear, click "Next" then "Finish" 9. Select "Apply" then "Close" in the Display Properties menu 10. Close all dialog boxes selected Restarted Windows 11. Goto "Display Properties" and change Color Palette to 16 million color and resolution to 1024 X 768 then select "Apply" and "OK". 12. Insert Disk 13. Extract self-extract file Portrait 4.12 into a temporary directory 14. There should be two directories created name "Win95_98" and "WinNT" 15. Go into the Win95_98 directory and double click on "SETUP" 16. Select "AGREE" 17. Select "Install" 18. After the setup is done, click Exit 19. Select "Yes" for restart Windows Window NT Installation (Use for Service Pack 3 ONLY) 1. Don't not install original NT driver for you graphic card 2. Quit all other applications 3. Insert Disk (privot driver for NT) 4. Extract self-extract file Portrait 4.12 into a temporary directory 5. There should be two directories created name "Win95_98" and "WinNT" 6. Go into the WinNT directory and double click on "SETUP" 7. Select "AGREE" 8. Select "Install" 9. Select Display 10. In Display Properties, select "Change" 11. Select "Have Disk" and type in the location for temporary directory "WinNT" then click "OK" 12. From the list of graphics drivers that appears in the Select Device dialog box, select the driver "WinPortrait Trident 9385(lcd)/9680/9440" and click OK. 13. A "Third Party Driver" screen will appear, click on "Yes" 14. A "Installing Driver" screen will appear, click on "OK" 15. Close all dialog boxes selected Restated Windows NT 16. Goto "Display Properties" and change Color Palette to 16 million color and resolution to 1024 X 768 then select "Apply" and "OK".Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
