ERGOSCAN.TXT The self-extracting file ERGOSCAN.EXE consist of the follwing files: ERGOSCAN.TXT, installation instructions, (this file) ERGOSCAN.INF, configuration file for ErgoScan monitors, for Windows 95/98 Copy ERGOSCAN.EXE to a temporary directory or the the C:\WINDOWS directory. When the ERGOSCAN.EXE is executed, the above mentioned files will be extracted into the directory where you put ERGOSCAN.EXE. Please remember the name of this directory, since you need to specify this directory in order to complete the installation procedure as described below. Installation guide for Windows 95/98: After installation of Windows 95/98 is done, open the "Control Panel", choose icon "Display", select "Settings", select "Change Display Type", then choose "Change" the Monitor Type. Select "Have Disk", in the next window which appears, type the location(directory) where the file ERGOSCAN.INF is located. You will then be presented with a window, "Select Device", which shows all the ErgoScan monitors, choose the one which corresponds the monitor you have. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
