                        ******** PMX Drivers Update *******

There have been recent updates to the ethernet drivers on the driver disks.
There is now a TSR version of the NETOPEN driver included on the installation
disk. There are two network enablers included on the disk, NETOPEN.EXE and
NET204.EXE. NETOPEN.EXE will be the default driver, installed into the
target directory.

When Card and Socket services are installed the TSR will enable the user to
insert and remove the card without having to rerun the enabler. NOTE: THIS
IS ONLY RECOMMENDED WHEN NOT LOGGED INTO THE NETWORK, OTHERWISE THE USER WILL
LOSE THEIR NETWORK CONNECTION, AND CAN HANG THE MACHINE. If there are no Card
and Socket services loaded, NETOPEN.EXE driver will default to the standard
NON-TSR mode.

Other enhancements include IRQ auto recognition/configuration. An audible
beep can be heard when the card has been configured correctly. The resulting
IRQ configuration can be observed by re-running the NETOPEN.EXE enabler again.

The same command switches apply to the driver as indicated in the manual.
NET204.EXE is included with the installation disk, and has been updated for
the following computers :Everex DX4 Stepnote computer, Chicony SN8650,
SN8660 subnotes, and the Cannon Innova 10c subnotebook
