* 1.  OVERVIEW
****************************************************************************
The SMSC IrDA Software Installation Utility installs to the target system
a Windows* INF file and a smcirda.sys (smscir64.inf and smscir64.sys, respectively, on 64 bit systems) file
which outline to the operating system how the IrDA components will be configured.

This is needed for the proper functioning of the following features:

   - IrDA Ver 1.1 Infrared Technology Support
   - Correct Configuration of SMSC IrDA components
   - Correct Identification of SMSC IrDA Components in
     Device Manager

This distribution also includes the driver files (*.CAT, *.INF, and *.SYS ) for
each operating system. They may be used to install the driver by way of
the Device Manager if desired or required.

The driver binary itself is language neutral. This Setup supports the
following languages:

Basque, Catalan, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Croatian,
Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French (Canadian), French (Standard),
German, Greek, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian,
