Canon MP Navigator (hereafter called MP Navigator) This application software allows you to save, print, attach (e-mail) or edit scanned images easily. Uninstaller This deletes unnecessary files related to MP Navigator. MP Navigator ReadMe (Readme.txt) This file. It provides important information about MP Navigator. When you are finished with installation, select [Start]- [(All)Programs]-[Canon Utilities]-[MP Navigator 3.0]- [MP Navigator Readme] to display the contents of this file. ===================================================================== Restriction on Use of MP Navigator ===================================================================== The following restriction is placed on the use of this product. Pay attention to this restriction before use. - When scanning mounted slides with film-scanning supported models, positive film can be scanned. - When scanning black and white film with film-scanning supported models, it is recommended to select black and white film for [Film Type] in the [Scan Settings] dialog box and scan. - With film-scanning supported models, the film may not be scanned properly if [Auto] is selected for [Film Type] in the [Film] screen. In such a case, click [Specify] and select the type of film to be scanned in [Film Type], and then perform a scan over again. - On Windows Vista, the following error message may appear while scanning. "Cannot communicate with scanner. Code: 2,155,0 (or Code: 53,3,0)" In such a case, close the error message and confirm that the cable is connected and the printer is turned on. And then perform a scan over again after a while.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
