Known Problems EZStart cannot detect the following drivers: o SMC IPX Shell driver o SMC DOS ODI Shell driver o SMC DOS NDIS Shell driver If you want to use EZStart, it is recommended that you do not have any drivers loaded. -- Version 1.02 -- Added LMAC change to improve reliability and performance. Known Problems When using EZStart with Windows for Workgroups, EZStart will not operate properly when started from the MS-DOS Prompt in the Main Group. EZStart will not run properly unless your default drive and directory are those in which EZStart and its associated files are located. The current version of EZStart supports SMC Elite and Ultra Ethernet adapters in ISA and EISA systems. If you try to run EZStart using adapters other than SMC Elite and Ultra ISA adapters, or try to run EZStart with Micro Channel adapters, a message informs you that no adapter can be found. -- Version 1.01 -- First customer-release version. -- Version 1.00 -- Beta version. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
