Overview

The Gateway version of the IntelliType software does not always uninstall successfully. This utility aids in the uninstall of IntelliType. This is a patch file.

Identification

1. From the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

2. In Control Panel, double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.

3. In the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box, if IntelliType is one of the listed programs, this file is the correct file.

Installation

1. From the Start menu, click Run.

2. In the Run dialog box, type: C:\CABS\UNINIT.EXE. Click OK.

3. The C:\MSINPUT\MSINPUT.INI file is updated properly by the UNINIT.EXE program. IntelliType can now be uninstalled normally.

Removal

Because this is only a patch to the IntelliType uninstall program, there is no removal for it.

Troubleshooting

Every time IntelliType is reinstalled, run Uninit.exe before attempting to remove IntelliType.

Reason for Update
