Down load procedure for PC (Ver.2) <Note> When you flash FW of DVD-ROM, please use utilitise in COMMAND PROMPT MODE. <Connect DVD-ROM to PC> Please set drive to Master of Secondary port. <Procedure to download> Please use batch file T.BAT. T.bat is "fwmke 0ADAL_H5.MOT MKEV2DVD". This makes the file 0ADAL_H5.MOT MKEV2DVD integrate into one file. Then host computer issue a command for download to DVD-ROM and transfer F/W data. An indication on PC when this file is executed is as follows. c:>fwmke 0ADAL_H5.MOT MKEV2DVD Flash Write for MKEV2DVD 970308 Sum : xxxx(4010-7FFF) Sum : xxxx(4000-1FFEF) Program Change Command success Write Microcode Command ........ x.xxs success Read Microcode Command...........x.xxs success <== complete transferring Verify success Synchronize MIcrocode Command <== start to write into Flash ROM ( Check-sum data may be diferrence from actual value as indicated.) After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
