Identification This file only works on the Gateway Connected Music Player. Installation 1. On your computer, locate and double-click the file cmp1.1.2. 2. A WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box appears. Unzip the files to the folder where your music files are stored. For example, C:\ My Documents\My Music, C:\Audio, C:\Music. 3. Turn off the Connected Music Player with the power button located on the back of the unit. 4. Wait 5 seconds and turn on the unit. 5. The Connected Music Player locates the host and loads the songs. 6. Push the options button on the Connected Music Player and turn the dial to Update Flash. 7. Push in the dial button. 8. The flash update runs. 9. Turn off the Connected Music Player with the power button located on the back of the unit. 10. Wait 5 seconds and turn on the unit. The updated firmware displays after the computer is started. To verify the update worked, push the options button on the Connected Music Player and it is displayed here also. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
