This file is part of a collection that will update a Gateway "MLB-P24T" motherboard to the "JX-30 06" level. (The MLB boards are a type of Micronics JX-30 that Gateway sold in the early months of 1994.) This BIOS is specific to the motherboards having part number MLB486P24T and should not be used with any other type of system. The main thrust of this BIOS is to resolve a phenomenon where these boards will tend to report parity error problems when the Intel P-24T (Pentium Overdrive or POD) type processor is installed. To use this BIOS simply boot the system "clean", meaning without loading any sort of memory manager or TSR program (under DOS 6.0 and later this is most easily accomplished by pressing the "F5" key when the system displays the "Starting MS-DOS" banner on boot) and then running the supplied program "FSH20F.EXE". Applicable Part Numbers: JX30B, JX30G, JX30GIFX, JX30GPS2, JX30GPS2WDownload Driver Pack
