        1).     REASON FOR UPDATE OR CHANGE TO FILES.
                Updated plug & play BIOS.

        2).     DESCRIPTION OF FILES AND THEIR FUNCTIONS.     
                Flash BIOS upgrade files.

        3).     COMPONENT USE LISTING.
                These files are only to be used with the 
                Intel P5-60 Batmans Revenge motherboard (586PCI4 MB).
                Do NOT use these files with any other motherboard.

        4).     INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THESE FILES.
                Create a disk that is bootable from your A: drive.
                (format a: /s)  Copy all the files contained within
                this archive to that disk.  Place this diskette in
                drive A: and reset the computer system.

        5).     Please note the following two items:

                a).     If you have two hard disk drives installed
                        in your computer system, make sure that the 
                        "Initialization Timeout" is set to five seconds
                        on the second drive.  To set the "Intitialization  
                        Timeout" setting, please go to the Main Menu page 
                        of your CMOS and select the hard disk drive that 
                        you want to change the settings for and hit 
                        "Enter/Return" key.  

                b).     If you have NOT backed up the data on your hard
                        disk drive (s), please do so now.  This is for your 
                        own protection.

            NOTE:       This utility disk will; 1) save current CMOS settings.
                        2) Create a new CMOS table.  3) Restore the original
                        CMOS settings. 4) Upgrade the BIOS to "1.00.10 AF2T", 
                        then the system will (automatically) reboot.
                        A message will be displayed "Memory Size Decreased".
                        PRESS <F1> to check CMOS settings, remove the disk 
                        from the floppy drive then exit CMOS.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
