EISA Configuration Utility (ECU)
                                                  Configuration File (CF)

Requirements to Run ECU:

   1.EISA Computer.

   2.Clean boot.

3.System configuration diskette or ECU from hard drive if the system hard drive is bootable.

Setting Up A Bootable ECU Diskette:

1.Format a disk in the A: drive and transfer system files to it by typing format a: /s at the C:\> prompt.

2.When prompted for the label, title the disk as SYSTEMCFG.

3.Copy all files from the Configuration diskette that came with the system to the newly created EISA configuration diskette.

4.Copy the appropriate controller card files from the controller cards utility disks to the newly created ECU disk:

     Adaptec:
     ADP0000.OVL
     !ADP0002.CFG

     Ultrastore:
     !USC0240.CFG

5.Run the CF.EXE file on the backup diskette. This brings up the main menu of the EISA Utility. When the CF file is run, the driver for the Adaptec controller card will
automatically load and install in the correct slot.
