This software is for following SHARP Color Inkjet all-in-one device.
SHARP AJ-5030
This software will not work correctly if used on other products.

Microsoft Windows XP (English)
SHARP does not guarantee that this software will install or work
with other operating system.
You can use this software only for Windows XP.

About Installation
-------------------------------------------------------------------
- The Sharp Inkjet all-in-one Interface software cannot be
installed by Plug and Play. If the New Hardware Found box appears
when you turn on your computer, click the Cancel button to exit
the dialog box.
To install, please run "Setup.exe".
- If a previous version of the Sharp Inkjet all-in-one Interface
software (for Win9x/NT/2000) was installed on your operating system,
please remove it before installing this software.
- When upgrade the operating system to Windows XP, please emove the
previous version of the Sharp Inkjet all-in-one Interfcace software
(for Win9x/NT/2000). Then install this software after finishing
the upgrade of the operating system.

Driver Information
------------------------------------------------------------------
- When scanning, some applications use the Microsoft Windows
scanning interface ("Insert Pictures from Scanner or Camera")
dialog box. In this case the Resolution setting for the Device
"AJ5030 Scanner" maybe grayed out. To set he resolution before
scanning click on "Custom Insert" and the dialog box for AJ5030
Scanner settings will appear.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
