FMUP.EXE: FLASH Memory Update Utility Release 3.2 Bios 1.00.11.BS0T for the Zappa MB These are the files neccessary to update a Intel Zappa motherboard to the 1.00.11.BS0T level. DO NOT use this on a motherboard with a system BIOS ending with any other code than .BS0T. Copy these files to a bootable floppy disk and restart the system. The BIOS should then update by itself. 1. Make a bootable floppy by formatting it and putting the system files on it. 2. a. If you're running Windows 95:In Explorer, click on file, then NEW, and FOLDER. The system will then put a NEW FOLDER icon on your C drive. Find the NEW FOLDER icon and copy or move the BIOS file to it. Expand the BIOS file in the NEW FOLDER directory by typing the name of the file and pressing enter. b. If you're running Windows 3.1x: In File manager, click on File, and Create directory. Type TEST in for the name of your directory. Find the TEST directory that you just created and copy or move the BIOS file to it. Expand the BIOS file in the NEW FOLDER directory by typing the name of the file and pressing enter. 3. Copy the files onto the bootable floppy. 4. If it asks you to Overwrite command.com, answer no. 5. Boot the computer using the disk. 6. Select Update Flash Memory from a file. 7. Select the file 1011BS0T.BIO as the file to update from. 8. The BIOS will be flashed to the new version 1.00.11BS0T. 9. After the BIOS is flashed, the utility will prompt for the system to be rebooted. Press esc until the system reboots. Upon reboot, your new BIOS should show you version 1.00.11BS0T. This utility must be executed in a system without memory managers installed. If EMM386, QEMM, 386MAX, or Windows is active, then the FLASH update is not safe. Remove any memory manager or exit Windows before executing the FLASH Memory Update Utility. SHOWHDR.EXE: This tool is provided to display header information on the specified FLASH data image. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
