                          AR-2000 Driver Installation
                                for Windows 95
                          ============================

If you are using another adapter or are installing a newer driver version,
please follow the procedures below.

 NOTE 1: When installing network card driver, Win95 CD-ROM or floppies should
         be on hand.
=============================================================================

1. Copy NETEZ200.INF from A:\WIN95 to C:\WINDOWS\INF if the Windows path is
   in C:\WINDOWS.

2. From the Control Panel, select Network. The Network windows should appear.

3. From the Network window, click on "Add". You will then be asked to select
   a component type, double click on  "Adapter".

4. A list of network card Manufacturers and Network Adapters should now be
   shown.
   Select the "Ether" on Manufacturers and "Ether AR-2000 series adapters"
   on Network Adapters window.
   Click the <OK> button.

5. When all the setting are complete, click on "OK" on the properties page
   to return to the network window. If everything looks correct here, click
   the "OK" to close the network window.

6. The setup will ask you to type the correct path of the new driver.
   Put the driver diskette in drive A: and type the full path of driver.

7. While copying drivers, Win95 also needs Win95 CD-ROM to copy other
   files in  D:\win95 if your CD-ROM drive is D:. So you need change to
   the correct path.

8. Select "Yes" to restart your computer.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
