Prerequisites:
Blank floppy diskette

How To Use:

      1. Download the BIOS update.

      2. Double-click the BIOS update icon and then click NEXT.

      3. Accept the license terms and then click NEXT.

      4. Insert a blank floppy diskette and click OK to continue the update.

      5. Restart the PC with the diskette still in the floppy diskette drive.

      6. Type "2" and then press Enter when prompted to indicate that you want to proceed.

      7. Wait for the update to complete and then press any key on the keyboard when you are prompted. This should restart the PC. If the PC does not restart and you see the message below, continue to step 8; otherwise you are done with the update:

      0251: System CMOS checksum bad - Default configuration used

      8. Remove the floppy diskette from the floppy diskette drive.

      9. Press F1 to open the BIOS Setup.

      10. Press F5, choose YES, and then press Enter to load the BIOS defaults. (Use the arrow keys to choose YES, if necessary.)

      11. Press F10, choose YES, and then press Enter to exit the BIOS Setup and save your changes. (Use the arrow keys to choose YES, if necessary.)

      12. If you see a System Settings Change message prompting you to restart your PC, click YES to restart the PC again.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
