  Copy contents of installation file 'HF000X.ZIP' to 'C:\ARCHIVE\DIAMOND'.
  Desktop layout configuration set to 'Classic desktop' design.

3. Driver installation

  Click right mouse button on 'My Computer' desktop icon
   Choose 'Properties'
    Choose 'Hardware'
     Choose 'Hardware Wizard'
      Select unknown 'Network Adapter'
       Choose 'Install Driver'
        Select 'From a list'
         Choose 'Next'
        Select 'Don't search...'
         Choose 'Next'
        Select type 'Network Adapter'
         Choose 'Next'
        Select 'Have Disk'
         Browse to 'C:\ARCHIV\DIAMOND'
        Press 'OK'
        Choose 'Next'
       Choose 'Continue'
      Choose 'Finish'
     Choose 'Close'
    Close 'Hardware Wizard'
   Press 'OK'

4. Network configuration

  Click right mouse button on 'Network Neighborhood' desktop icon
   Click right mouse button on 'Lan connection' 'Diamond...'
    Click left mouse button on 'Internet protocol TCP/IP'
     Select 'Properties'
      Enable 'Select IP-Address'
       Set 'IP Address:' to '192.168.000.001'
       Set 'Subnet Mask:' to '255.255.255.000'
      Press 'OK
     Enable 'Display connection symbol in taskbar'

   Select 'Advanced'
    Select 'Network Identification'
     Enter Computer Description: 'MYNETWORK'
      Click on 'Change Workgroup'
       Change 'Workgroup:' to 'HOMEFREE'
      Press 'OK'
     Press 'OK'
    Press 'OK'
   Select 'Apply'
  Message 'Changed Settings'
   Select 'YES'

5. Resource sharing

  Double Click left mouse button on 'My Computer' desktop icon
   Click right mouse button on drive '(C:)
    Select 'Sharing and Security'
     Click on 'Easy Sharing'
      Click on 'Known risk, file sharing without wizard'
       Enable 'Simple File Sharing'
      Press 'OK'
       Enable 'Share This Folder (C)'
       Enable 'Network Users Can Change Files'
      Press 'Apply'
     Press 'OK'
   Close folder 'My Computer'

6. First contact

  Click right mouse button on taskbar 'Start' button
   Select 'Explorer'
    Scroll down 'Folders' windows
     Select 'Network Neighborhood'
      Press refresh key 'F5' a few times to contact available clients

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
