Welcome Welcome to Infineon TPM 1.2 Test- and FieldUpgrade-Tool "TPM12TST". The TPM 1.2 Test- and FieldUpgrade-Tool "TPM12TST" is intended to be used to create an Endorsement-Keypair (EKP) on-chip, to perform a short test and to upgrade the Firmware of the Infineon Technologies TPM SLB9635TT1.2 from the Version 242.66 (F2.42) to the Version 242.68 (F2.44). 1.1 Prerequisites PC compatible platforms, MS-DOS 6.0 and later, running from 1,44MB Floppy Disk, HDD or bootable USB-Stick. 1.2 Installation Unzip TPM_F244.ZIP into a single folder on a HDD, where MS-DOS is installed or onto a bootable MS-DOS Floppy Disk or USB-Stick. 1.3 Operation TPM12TST is operated as follows: Call: TPM12TST Calling without parameter starts the EKP generation, testing and FieldUpgrade process. First the TPM is checked wether it is enabled and activated, if not, it will be enabled and activated if PhysicalPresence is not locked by the Platform BIOS. If this was successfull a reboot is required to complete this step. If not, this step must be done manually via the appropriate BIOS Setup Page. Next the on-chip generation of an EKP is started, if already present an according message is displayed. Thereafter, the TPM-built-in Selftest is performed and the current version info is read out and displayed. Finally, if the current FW Version can be upgraded, the Fieldupgrade-Process is performed. Options in TPM12TST.CFG: [IO_Address] IO_BASE = 0x4700 CFG_BASE = 0x4E IO_BASE is the Runtime address for the TPM which is configured by the platform Bios in the PC Chipset. CFG_BASE is the Config address for the TPM which is configured by the platform Bios in the PC Chipset. Please consider that the TPM12TST.EXE does not configure the PC chipset and therefore relys on a proper setting of the PCI to LPC bridge. 2.
