Good News/Bad News

In this activity you will write "good news/bad news" sentences. Here are some examples:

Good News:  We had a hot time at the party last night.
Bad News:  The decorations caught on fire and burned up the picnic table.

Good News:  I rode my bike over a big bump and didn't fall off.
Bad News:  The big bump was my poor dog, Alfie.

Now type the "bad news" sentence for each "good news" sentence below. Make sure you type a complete sentence.

Your sentence must have a subject and a verb. It should begin with a capital letter and end with a period or question mark.

Good News:  I slugged the ball deep into right field.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
