MacOS 8.5.1 and MacOS 8.6
Introduction:

This document describes the procedure to install the MacOS 8.5.1 and
MacOS 8.6 driver for 10/100M PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter.
Location of Driver: \MacOS\rtl8139x.sit
Installing driver procedure on MacOS 8.5.1 and MacOS 8.6:
-----------------------------------------
1. Decompress RTL8139x.sit
1.1 Place RTL8139x.sit on the desktop of MacOS.
1.2 Decompress RTL8139x.sit using "StuffIt Expander" to "Rtl8139x
Driver" folder on the desktop.
Note: You can get "StuffIt Expander" freeware from the following web
site: http://www.aladdinsys.com/expander
2. Read "RTL8139x readme" file in the "Rtl8139x Driver" folder for more
information.
MacOS 9.0 and MacOS 9.1 and MacOs X driver :

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
