ASOUND-LINK Version 2.00.07 - October 9, 1998
====================================================

The V.90 implemented in this version is not yet fully performance optimized.

SCR #613 - When connected to a V.90 ISP, playing Mpeg or Mp3 files can lead to retrain and move to v.34, or to uncontinuous playing on platforms less strong or equal to Pentium 200 Mhz.

ASOUND-LINK Version 1.90.01 - September 13, 1998
===========================================================

Known issues:
-------------

- SCR #591 - Playing MP3 files while connected at 56KFlex on some platforms, more likely on Pentium
  166Mhz, could be partially broken if the sampling rate is 44Khz and other applications loads the CPU.
- SCR #584 - Recording master control in Volume Control Applet -> Recording does not move.
  This is deliberate behavior, since the only function of this slider is to enable Mute All
  checkbox.

- SCR #534 - Note that if you are using a passive microphone, you should set the 20 dB gain
  in the Volume Control Applet under the Playback -> Advanced button.
  Otherwise the mic signal might be too low.

- SCR #515 - If for some reasons, the installation of the drivers could not be completed
  successfully, a "pci device audio " Error Icon will appear in Control Panel\System\Device
  Manager\Other devices. If one tries to 'remove' it, the pc will stuck.

  Workaround: in the above case and other cases, do not try to remove such PCI Audio drivers.
  Instead, choose Properties\Update Driver Tab and enter the correct installation directory
  for this driver.

Known Problems:
--------------

- SCR #568 - When playing MIDI files concurrent to using the modem, the Wave Mute causes
  the MIDI to also be muted.

- SCR #541 - The presence of a PCI Video Camera card (DIAMOND Multimedia - PHILIPS Chip Set)
  might cause connection problems on some PCs. Therefore it is recommended to remove such a
  PCI Video card before installing an ASOUND-LINK card.

- ASOUND-LINK cards are not compatible with Main Boards of type "Octek Rhino 10 and 6VX".
