The drivers are provided as a convenience to the end users but are not directly supported by Cirrus Logic. Technical support for your Crystal-based sound system is provided by your PC or sound card manufacturer, not by Cirrus Logic. Many PC manufacturers customize their audio hardware and software, so the best place for driver updates and technical support is always the system or board manufacturer, rather than the audio chip manufacturer. If you continue to have problems with your Cirrus Logic based audio card, you will need to contact the PC manufacturer who designed and bundled your audio subsystem, or the add-in card manufacturer who made your card.
