Here is a brief description of the changes for v2.10 of the RC-2001 software: A password has been added to the setup menus. When SETUP is first pressed, the password screen appears. The user is required to dial in a 4 character password using the knobs, then hit SELECT to enter the setup menus. If the wrong password is entered, the user will be unable to enter the setup menus. If the user hits SETUP again at any time while editing the password, they leave the password screen and are returned to the normal screen. The default password is 2001. This password can be changed in the newly added Change Password setup menu. Just in case the user forgets their password, the password MIKE will always be accepted by all RC-2001s. When a user leaves the setup menu (by pressing SETUP), the initial password which appears the next time the user tries to enter the setup menus will be the CORRECT password. This means that the user must INTENTIONALLY scramble that initial password (by pressing SETUP and entering an incorrect password). This will make it easier for users who do not want to use the password function, and during times when the SETUP menus are being used often, such as during initial setup of the remote. A field has been added to the Edit Device Info setup menu called Locked. The possible values for each device are available (default) and locked. If locked is selected, then this device will not be accessible from this remote control, although messages for this device from other remote controls will still be passed on. The function of the Sub Menus field in the Remote Settings setup menu has been changed. When submenus are avail, all menus for all devices (except those which are locked, see above) can be accessed. When submenus are set to locked, then only the Proc Amp and freeze menus can be accessed. V2.30 The RC-2001 previously had the capability to store 30 devices. That has now been increased to 45 devices. The encoder wheel sensitivity has also been changed. The wheels now have variable speed adjustment to allow larger increments when moving wheels at higher velocities. It now takes fewer turns to get to higher or lower levels, while still allowing for fine sensitivity at slower rates. V2.40 The encoder wheel sensitivity has been modified for more accurate control. A bug has been fixed where a RC2001 would not echo commands through the unit if it was sitting at the initial startup screen. This has been corrected. It will now echo commands from any screen. V2.40p DPS 465 Pal control was added.Download Driver Pack
