-Added reboot checkbox for HTTP Uploads.  Note:  The unit will always reboot in Serial mode.
-Added .nvr file type.  This type is for when you save the backup settings from the unit.  This must be the file extension in order to upload the file back to the 475/575.
-Added code to correct erroneous failed messages that could appear while uploading the .HTDB file to the 475/575.
-Help file has been updated

- Corrects a bug where during a serial upload the "audio.lfg" file was assigned an incorrect file type. Ethernet upload was unaffected.

Software Installation

Download the software to a directory on your hard drive, and launch the self extracting installer to install the software.

The first time you run the Uploader software, you will need to set your serial port and/or IP Address configuration in the Connection Type section. Select the serial port on your computer to which you have connected the DPS-475/575, then click the Save Settings button.

Uploading Files

The Uploader software is started by selecting it from the Programs menu of the Windows Start button. You will find the software in the Start > Programs > DPS > Uploader. 

To upload files to the DPS-475/575, build a list of files to be uploaded by using the Add Files button. Once all of your desired files have been added to the upload list, click the Start Upload button to begin the transfer. It will take a few minutes to upload the files to the unit. The display panel of the DPS-475/575 will show the progress of the transfer of the files. A progress status bar in the Uploader software will show similar information.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
