Angelo DirectX Driver Installation Guide:

1. Download and install the Microsoft DirectX 9.0 or above.

2. Unplug ADLINK grabber card in your system.

3. Lanuch Btinstaller.exe, then select "Uninstall any previously installed
driver associated with Bt8xx hardware" item, and complete it.

4. When Btinstaller.exe complete its procedures, it will re-boot your
system. 

5.After reboot,
A. Copy Bt878DX.inf to "Window -> inf" sub-directory.
B. Depend on Windows system, copy the right version of bt848.sys to
 "Window -> system32 -> drivers " sub-directory.

6.Shut down computer.

7.Plug the ADLINK grabber card, than restart computer.

8.Device Manager will detect 8 pci devices in our frame grabber card.


 

DirectX Sample Program "Amcap.exe" for Angelo:

1.Make sure you install the DirextX SDK 8.0 above

2.Open the .dsw file in "DXSDK->Samples->C++->DirectShow->BaseClasses", than build it.

2.Open the .dswp file in "DXSDK->Samples->C++->DirectShow->Capture->AmCap", than build it.

3.Execute the AmCap.exe, select the item in menu bar as shown in "1.jpg", "2.jpg"... in "Image" folder  

4.If you only see a "Blue window", it means the driver works, but you did not selet the correct configuration
, please try as following 

A."Video crossbar": select "0: Video Composite In"
B."Video Capture filter":select NTSC or PAL
C."Devices" try each one of the four devices

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
