This version cannot be used on Vista x64 version. ------------------------- Verifying a driver version ------------------------- 1. Click Start and run Control Panel. 2. Click System and Maintenance. 3. Click Device Manager. 4. Click Continue. 5. Double-click the "Sound, video and game controllers". 6. Right-click the "SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC" and click Priperties. 7. On the Driver tab, verify "6.10.5185.0" is shown on Driver Version. 8. Click Driver Details and select "stwrt.sys" 9. Verify "6.10.5185.0 nd500 cp1 built by: WinDDK" is shown on File version. ------------ Installation ------------ 1. Run SETUP.EXE. 2. Click Continue. 3. Click Next. 4. Click Install. 5. Click Finish. --------- Uninstall --------- 1. Click Start and run Control Panel. 2. Click Programs. 3. Click Programs and Features. 4. Select "SigmaTel Audio" and click Uninstall. 5. Click Continue. 6. Click OK. 7. Click Finish.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
