Click Device Manager. 4. Click Continue. 5. Double-click the "Sound, video and game controllers". 6. Right-click the "SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio" and click Priperties. 7. On the Driver tab, verify "5.12.1.5410" is shown on Driver Version. 8. Click Driver Details and select "RtkHDAud.sys" 9. Verify "5.12.01.5410" is shown on File version. ------------ Installation ------------ 1. Click Start and run Control Panel. 2. Click System and Maintenance. 3. Click Device Manager. 4. Click Continue. 5. Double-click the "Other devices". 6. Right-click the "Multimedia Audio Controller" and click "Update Driver Software...". 7. Click "Browse my computer for driver software". 8. Write the location in which the driver is included and click Next. 9. Click Close. --------- Uninstall --------- 1. Click Start and run Control Panel. 2. Click System and Maintenance. 3. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
