README Driver File Contents (p360f130.zip)

This directory contains code for both the PC and the TMS320C30. The
PC code calls the defined function on the DSP which then changes the
gain and offset between successive grabs. In order to make this program
you must do the following:

1. Compile and link the host PC program DSPUSER.C and the DSP
    function CPROG.C:
              make

This will do the following steps:

1. Assemble the TABLEC.ASM file:
              asm30 table

2. Compile the DSP C code:
              cl30 -c cprog.c

3. Build the special A.TAG file:
              linkc

4. Compile and link the host PC program DSPUSER.C:
              bcc -v -w -ml dspuser.c p360hlrg.lib

5. Run the program DSPUSER.EXE.

In order to make the program just type MAKE and the DSPUSER.EXE will be
built. Note that this is compatible with Turbo C. Also, in order for
this to work, the following are assumed:

        - The file TURBOC.CFG include path has been modified to include
a path to where the file STDDEFS.H is located.
        - The file TURBOC.CFG library path has been modified to include
a path to where the file P360HOST.LIB is located.
        - The palette files must be copied to where the	program DSPUSER.EXE
          is to be run.
        - the Texas Instruments C Compiler is installed
        - The modified version of the A.TAG file is specially created to have
          the _cprog function in it.

The files in this directory are:

makefile: The makefile for the DSPUSER.C program and DSP tag file.
table.asm: The user function table for the P360.
cprog.c: The sample 320C30 DSP program.
lkcpgm.cmd: The linker command file for the 320C30 linker.
dspuser.c: The host based program that calls the DSP program.
dspuser.exe: The executable version of the above C file.
cprog.obj: The object module for CPROG.C.
table.obj: The object module for TABLE.ASM.
