Setup Autoexec.bat

If you require the RPC to be available whichever directory you are in,
you must add the search path of the RPC files to your Autoexec.bat file.
If you require the STM to automatically be enabled whenever your
computer is turned on, you should also add the line "STMX.COM" to your
Autoexec.bat file.
If you set the settings to "Valid", the installer automatically adds the
search path of the RPC files and "STMX.COM" to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file.

\[RPC\] is a DOS application which consists of the \[RPC main program\]
and a \[status monitor(STM)\] program. The RPC allows you to know the
printer status and set/change the printer settings from your computer
keyboard. The STM program, which continually monitors the printer
status, or the use of a Hot Key sequence enable the main program of the
RPC to wake up automatically.

you can start the RPC main program by entering the command shown below.

If required, you can cause the STM program to remain in your computer
memory by entering the command shown below.
     \[STMX\<Enter\>\]

When STM is resident in your computer, the RPC main body automatically
wakes up when there is a change in the printer status, or it can be
awakened by using the Hot-key sequence \[%HOTKEY%\] even when another
application is running.

You can change the STM settings and Hot-key sequence in the Console
Config Menu in the RPC main program.
