SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
	NT 5.0 Retail

FILES:

	TViewPCI.inf
	TViewPCI.sys (copied to c:\winnt\system32\drivers)
	TViewPCI.cpl (copied to c:\winnt\system32)

INSTALLING THE RELEASE:

	1)  Login with Admin privileges.
	2)  Save the files to a directory.
	3)  Plug the TView PCI card into the PC and reboot.
	4)  The Hardware Wizard should automatically detect the PCI card
	    and prompt for driver information, otherwise start the Add/Remove
	    Hardware wizard from the Control Panel Folder.
	5)  Select "Add new device".
	6)  Select "No, select from list ...".
	7)  Select "Sound, video, and game controllers".
	8)  Click the "Have Disk" button, then "Browse" to the directory
	    the driver files were copied.
	9)  Select the "TViewPCI.inf" file, and "Open".
	10) Complete the installation as prompted and then reboot the PC.

VERIFYING THE INSTALL:

	1) a) Bring up the Control Panel (Start->Settings->Control Panel).
	   b) Double-click on the System icon, then select "Hardware".
	   c) Click the "Device Manager" button.
	   d) Verify TView Gold PCI device appears under the "Sound, video,
	      and game controllers".
	   e) Double-click on the device and verify device status is ok.

	2) Run the TViewPCI control applet as follows:
		a) Double click on the TViewPCI icon.
		b) Try the controls.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
