Then follow the instructions below. 2) After installing your modem hardware start Windows. 3) The Found New Hardware Wizard dialog box will come up, click "Next" to continue. 4) Windows 2000 will ask you "What do you want the wizard to do", select the "Search For A Suitable driver for my device(Recommended)" option and click "Next" to continue. 5) Windows 2000 will ask you to specify a search location. If your Windows 2000 modem inf file is in your floppy disk then select the "Floppy Disk Drives" option and leave the rest of the options unchecked, otherwise check the "Specify a Location" option to specify the location for Windows 2000 to locate the inf file. This location will be the directory where you downloaded this file. Click Next to contiue. 6) Windows 2000 begins to search for the inf file. It will inform you once it has found the inf file. Click "Next" to continue. 7) You will see a dialog box that reads, "Digital Signature Not Found". That is because Windows 2000 is a new operating system and its drivers are new. You should ignore this message and click "Yes". The installation will proceed correctly. When Windows locates the driver, click the "Next" button. 8) Click "Finish" to complete the installation.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
