Readme.txt Driver File Contents (CC1010_Incircuit_FLASH_programmer_1_3.zip)


This PC program basically performs in-circuit programmming of the CC1010 FLASH memory.
It implements a full SPI protocol and a synchronous serial link between the PC parallel
port and the CC1010 SPI port. To use this program, please do the following installation
procedure first:

  1. Make sure your OS platform is MS Windows95/98, or MS Windows NT/2000/XP.
  2. Extract CCPROG.EXE to location of your choice.
     (Chipcon prefers C:\Program Files\Chipcon\Flash Programmer)
  3. Extract CCPPORT.DLL to Windows directory (C:\WINNT).
  4. Extract TVICPORT.VXD to Windows System directory (C:\WINNT\system32).
  5. Extract TVICPORT.SYS to Windows Driver directory (C:\WINNT\system32\drivers).

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
