The Ethernet LAN drivers of EZ2000 cards for Windows NT contained in this
diskette are as follows:

\NT31\EZ2000.SYS     NDIS 3.0 driver for Windows NT
\NT31\OEMSETNT.INF  OEMSETUP file for Windows NT
\DISK1

Installation Procedure:

(1)  When LAN drivers is installed, Windows NT will present a list of all
     available drivers.  Since there will be no EZ2000 drivers
     initially, select OTHERS for 3rd party adapters not in the driver list.

(2)  Windows NT will ask for the drive/path containing the EZ2000 Windows NT
     drivers.  Insert the driver diskette in drive A: and respond with
     the following

     A:\NT31

(3)  Windows NT will attempt to locate an OEMSETNT.INF file in the specified
     path. If you have entered the path name correctly, Windows NT should copy
     the appropriate drivers to the Windows NT system.

(4)  At this point, the driver would have been properly copied and the
     installation would proceed to the next step.  Please refer to your
     Windows NT installation guide for correct procedures.

(5)  After the initial installation, the EZ2000 drivers will be permanently
     copied to the Windows NT system.  Subsequent network driver lists will
     already contain EZ2000 driver.

The Ethernet LAN drivers of EZ2000 cards for Windows for Workgroups
contained in this diskette are as follows:

\WFW311\EZ2000.386	 NDIS 3.0 WFW driver for Windows for Workgroups
\WFW311\EZ2000.DOS	 NDIS 2.0 DOS driver for Windows for Workgroups
\WFW311\EZ2000.COM	 ODI driver for Windows for Workgroups
\WFW311\NET.CFG 	 NET.CFG file for Windows for Workgroups
\WFW311\OEMSETUP.INF	 OEMSETUP file for Windows for Workgroups
\DISK1

Installation Procedure:

(1)  When LAN drivers is installed, Windows for Workgroups will present a list
     of all available drivers.	Since there will be no EZ-2000 drivers
     initially, select UNLIST for 3rd party adapters not in the driver list.

(2)  Windows for Workgroups will ask for the drive/path containing the EZ2000
     Windows for Workgroups drivers.  Insert the driver diskette in
     drive A: and respond with the following

     A:\WFW311

(3)  Windows for Workgroups will attempt to locate an OEMSETUP.INF file in the
     specified path. If you have entered the path name correctly, Windows
     for Workgroups should copy the appropriate drivers to the Windows for
     Workgroups system.

(4)  At this point, the driver would have been properly copied and the
     installation would proceed to the next step.  Please refer to your
     Windows for Workgroups installation guide for correct procedures.

(5)  After the initial installation, the EZ2000 drivers will be permanently
     copied to the Windows for Workgroups system.  Subsequent network driver
     lists will already contain EZ2000 drivers.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
